High Five For Friday!

Who wants to do the Friday Happy Dance with me?! Okay, I'll spare you my awesome dance moves for fear of personal injury.  Instead I'll share my top five of this week as I link up with Lauren!

1)  My sister was in need of a "pick me up".  Lucky for her, I happen to be hilarious:
Come on, you know you just giggled.  You're welcome.

2) Our pictures on Wednesday ended up being rescheduled due to the weather.  Don't worry though, we made use of our day by building the chicken coop for the baby chickens we are getting in April!

3) We also took the girls for a walk and afterwards my brother came over to visit.  I now understand why Maya truly believes she is a lap dog (too bad the picture quality is horrible!).

4) This e-mail was sparked by someone burning their food in the microwave of our kitchen at work and then throwing said food into the trash can.  The alarm went off, the fire department came and I missed it all since I was in the building next door.  It is only mildly amusing because terrible damage was not done and it made for an interesting afternoon and the events triggered the e-mail with this subject:

5) I finally baked grilled cheese this week.  I do not think I will make it any other way in the future.  The bread turns out perfectly golden and the cheese is evenly melted.  Simply assemble your grilled cheese as you normally would and bake in the oven at 425* for roughly 8 minutes, turning halfway through.  This night we had mozzarella grilled cheese with a marinara dipping sauce because some days just call for comfort food.

I hope you have had an excellent week and have an even better weekend!  I'm meeting some girlfriends for dinner tonight and I'll have my face in school books on Saturday. I hope to remove some labels from our collection of wine bottles on Sunday, we'll see how that goes! Happy Friday!

PS: It's snowing at our house again today!
PPS: Happy National Women's Day!
