Unconditional Love: affection with no limits or conditions; complete love

That is my Grandparents. Married for over 70 years with a love for one another that is beyond encouraging. I am incredibly fortunate to have had my Grandparents in my life for as long as I have. I lost my first Grandfather when I was 2 1/2 and my first Grandmother just last year. I do; however, still have my other Grandma (92) & Grandpa (96)
The last three weeks have been a challenge for them health wise. It began with my grandmother becoming ill. She ended up having surgery to put in a pace maker and has been on the mend since. The night my Grandma came home from the hospital, my grandpa tried to run out of the house without his walker to greet her, he was that excited to have her home.
Fast forward a week and my Grandpa became ill. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday with the Flu and Pneumonia. Despite having surgery for her pace maker only two weeks ago, my Grandma has been by his side every day. She has been feeding him his lunch and sneaking in sugar free cookies for dessert because she knows how much he enjoys them.
This is unconditional love.
My Grandfather is still fighting. We pray that he begins to regain strength so he might become stable and recover. It is one day at a time right now, and emotionally exhausting, but my sweet Grandmother is so positive, she gives me hope.
I'm lucky that I think I've found this kind of love with Aaron. I can't be sure since we don't have 70+ years of marriage to back it but if you check back with me in 2083 I'll be sure to let you know.
Prayers and/or positive vibes would be greatly appreciated.
