High Five For Friday!

Welcome to Friday!  Between the time change we had on Sunday, hours worth of traffic during my commute this week almost everyday and my Grandfather's illness, I have been a bit discombobulated.  Needless to say I found time to make a button for the blog and  am now looking forward to regathering my faculties over the weekend.

Here are my top 5 of the week:

1) I got to visit my Grandfather in the hospital on Wednesday and to my surprise (and great happiness) he was having a good day. When I called my Grandma for a report on Thursday evening I could hear the joy in her voice as she talked about her day at the hospital with my Grandpa. Apparently he had an even better day on Thursday marking the start of positive progress with his health. You can read about what they are going through exactly in my post here

2) After I went to the Hospital on Wednesday I stopped in a Trader Joe's that was near by and picked up a few treats.
3) Spring has sprung a little early in our yard!  This was too overgrown last year to produce fruit but we think it could be a peach tree or a pear tree.  I can't wait to find out!
4) I have never fried a food in my life and technically I still have not since Aaron cooked the fish for our Tacos on Thursday.  Anyway, he thought it would be a great idea to fry a Cutie.  Aaron would describe it as "crunchy and sweet".  I would say that it was disgusting.
5) Last but not least, this week has been an awesome one in school.  With only 10 more weeks to go until I graduate with my Bachelor's Degree, I was invited to join an Honor's Society and asked to share an essay I wrote because it was "wonderful". Definitely feeling accomplished after my six hard years of work!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
