High Five For Friday!

This week has been kind of all over the place so I’m going to get right to the point today.  Linking up with Lauren for my High Five of the week!

1) Marley has become pretty well acquainted with her puppy cousins while they stayed with us this week and I’m pretty sure she’s going to miss them when they go back home tonight.  On day one I came home to a half-eaten door mat.  Between two puppies and two mischievous older dogs, I’m really impressed that’s all I found!  Then on day three I came home to find a pile of tennis balls in the front yard.  It seems all of the girls went around collecting every tennis ball they could find and piled them up, kind of weird but also pretty funny.
2) Two things I love right now:

Olay Total Effects 7 In One Anti-Aging Fragrance Free Moisturizer with SPF 15 and CoverGirl LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara
{Target}

I have to use a prescription from my dermatologist on my face that tends to dry it out, and with my skin being incredibly sensitive, it is hard to find a daily moisturizer that doesn’t cause me to break out or get a rash.  I’ve been using Olay Total Effects for a week now and I love it.  My skin is brighter; it doesn’t get oily during the day and is the perfect balance to my prescription.  I just wish the SPF were higher but I can always add another SPF for days I know I’ll be outside.

This mascara is pretty true to its word.  It gives length and volume without any clumps and what I love most is that it doesn’t rub off under your eyes or above your eyes (below you eyebrow) like so many others do.  I’ve tried countless mascaras from department stores and this is definitely better than some I’ve spent almost 4x as much on.  A keeper for sure!

3) I’m also in love with Zico’s Chocolate Coconut water!  This could be dangerous because the stuff is not cheap at nearly $5 a pint (that’s 1/8 of a tank of gas!). I only buy it if it’s on sale and even then I tend to pass it up.  Lucky for me, Aaron’s mom found them on super sale so I can feed my habit for a while longer.
4) Enter stage right…… the biggest bag of Sour Patch Kids EVER sitting behind my desk!  I seriously laughed when I saw this.  1.9 pounds of Sour Patch Kids.  Where do you even find stuff like this?!

5) Negativity breeds negativity.  It is really amazing how much the attitude of those around you can influence your own.  I grew very much aware of this over the last week and I’m going to make a point not to be the one breeding negativity. Period.

  1. Hi! I found you blog through High Five for Friday. I had never heard of the chocolate coconut water before this week and now I've seen it twice. I just might have to try it.

    1. It's kind of a weird comparison, but the best way I can describe it is by saying it kind of tastes like Yoo-Hoo. My fiancé really doesn't like regular coconut water but loves the chocolate too! Thanks for visiting the blog :D
